What Neskowin homeowners say

★★★★★

“N/a. The video was nice but that should be available on the website in entirety. We already knew we wanted the roof but just wanted to physically see the materials and samples and have a conversation/ask questions. One thing that needs to happen is the cost has to come down, i really believe in the product and feel this type of roof should displace composition roofs.”

Roofing in Neskowin: what to plan for

Why Oregon roofs keep getting replaced

Months of rain, moss on the shady side and hot summer sun work on asphalt shingles every year: moss lifts the tabs, granules wash into the gutters and edges curl. Cedar shakes take on water and split. An Interlock roof has no granules to lose and nothing for moss to root into, and its panels lock to each other on all four sides.

The look of slate or cedar, without the weight

Interlock's Slate, Cedar Shingle and Shake profiles keep the look on a Craftsman bungalow, a foursquare, a Victorian or a farmhouse at roughly 0.4 to 0.7 lb per square foot, a fraction of natural slate. In a historic district, check with your local historic landmarks commission first; we bring samples and product documents to that conversation.

Built for salt air and wind

On the coast, salt air corrodes steel fasteners and coated-steel roofing; aluminum cannot rust. On the coast and in the Gorge, wind works at loose edges; Interlock panels lock on four sides with the fasteners concealed, and wind resistance is warranted to 120 mph installed to manufacturer specification.

One installer, since 1997

We plan, price and install every roof ourselves, under Oregon CCB License #130826. The manufacturer's Guardian Lifetime Limited Material Warranty comes with it, our 10 Year Limited Labor Warranty covers the installation, and our team works from Portland.
